I still remember that frosty idle morning covered with sheets of sleet and ice, when I was in the 8th grade. So, this happened a long time back, when I was walking down the street while reading a book (My real bad habit it was). I was wearing a blazer, since it was a chilling frosty morning allowing myself to wrap fully with all possible woolen stuff that could be helpful in relieving my shivering.
While I was busy in reading and walking tirelessly, I heard a crackling voice that took my attention on to the road. To my surprise, I found few coins lying on the road and that lady who was just in front of me, started collecting those without wasting a single second. Looking at this, I also thought to help her pick those coins. Finally I handed over those coins, which I had in my fist and she went away with the others which she was carrying. I again got back to my reading, as I could not stop reading that book which I had thought to finish before reaching the school’s door. The moment I held my hand in the blazer’s pocket and OMG, there was a big hole in it, and I ruptured out of laughter that I actually gave my coins happily to that not so kind lady and got fooled easily.
I still laugh and feel pity on my foolishness that how stupid and narrow focused I was at that point of time.
